We now explore how SysML can expose values specific to a context in an IBD:
This diagram shows value properties both as symbols and in a listing compartment for illustration
Before proceeding:
For the rest of this trail the overiding values will be called Context-Specific Values, but the compartment will (unless it is hopefully changed in the future) nevertheless still be referred to here as the SysML initialValues compartment.
In the example here it shows that pixels
has value 10.0 MP in the context of CustomCamera
.
[For comparison here the SysML :values compartment is also shown, just for comparison so we can see the overridden default; one would not usually show that compartment.]
The example so far showed one level of re-configuration (which required one instance to carry override values). We examine next how to achieve "deep" re-configuration.
