Our training solution for individuals
In response to the many enquiries we receive from individuals seeking assistance with more advanced SysML/MBSE topics, and from those requiring assistance preparing for the OCSMP exams for SysML, a process has been developed for offering on a per-case basis an alternative option in the form of pre-booked Live Online Educational Consultancy web sessions.
This service is also available for related technologies such as UML for software engineering and Object Constraint Language (OCL).
The Educational Consultancy Service does not offer a fully pre-specified topics outline, is subject to some restrictions, and employs a simplified enquiry and booking process.
Web sessions offer far more flexible topics coverage that a formal course. The topics focus can be decided during web sessions and adapted as you go along. The format is ideal for those who already have some experience with SysML and don't wish to again go over all of the topics necessarily covered by a formally structured group course (which must cater for all attendees).
It's easy to book web sessions!
Simply fill out a Questionnaire PDF form, indicate your preferred session times and dates, check a box to request a simple Service Agreement & Quotation PDF document, and return the form by email. Then invite invoicing against the Quotation and pre-pay to secure your sessions bookings.
Educational Consultancy web sessions are now also offered bundled with the
EXTENDED Plan subscription for the Webel Q&A self-testing system for SysML:
Who is eligible for the Educational Consultancy Service?
The Educational Consultancy Service may be offered to individuals wishing to prepare for the demanding OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) exams. Webel IT Australia is an OMG Accredited Training Provider for SysML, certified to offer training for preparation up to the Model Builder Intermediate (MBI) level exam.
The Educational Consultancy Service may be offered to individuals who already have some experience with SysML for MBSE and are seeking assistance with advanced topics such as:
- Activity and StateMachine simulation in Magic Model Analyst® (Cameo Simulation Toolkit®)
- The Webel Parsing Analysis recipe for SysML
- Domain Special Language (DSL) model element creation and advanced use of custom Profiles.
- Creating custom model validation rule suites.
- How to use SysML for capturing formal Systems Engineering (SE) methodologies.
- Specific tool features such as model query report customisation.
- Advanced use of Object Constraint Language (OCL) with SysML or UML.
The Educational Consultancy Service may also be offered to individuals seeking assistance with UML-driven software engineering, OO Design Patterns and software architecture, and reverse-engineering using the MagicDraw® UML (aka Magic Software Architect) tool.
Educational Consultancy Services are only offered on a per case basis and according to availability. We hope you understand that there is significant overhead in offering education services to smaller groups or individuals, and that enquiries for group bookings are thus sometimes given priority over enquiries from individuals.
