With so many tool names (especially since Dassault acquired No Magic Inc some years back) and now with two SysML language versions, it's easy to get confused, not least because many tool users simply use the familiar "Cameo" (from Cameo Systems Modeler) as a placeholder of all tools, and some USA users know the tools as MSOSA (which is actually a specific version):
Status as June 2026
The Cameo SysMLv2 Plugin and separate Cameo SysMLv2 Evaluation Plugin - which requires Magic Model Analyst® (Cameo Simulation Toolkit®) or equivalent - already have substantial coverage of SysMLv2. See for example:
The Cameo SysMLv2 Plugin is available for most of the tools in the Cameo/CATIA Magic family.
The Cameo SysMLv2 Evaluation Plugin already handles evaluation of most KerML expressions (although it does NOT seem yet to handle all binding connector cases and has some restrictions such as not yet handling mixed quantity units automatically).
The Webel SysMLv2 Course has LOTS of examples of SysMLv2 evaluations!
Note that evaluation is not full simulation. SysMLv2 was built from the ground up to support simulation, but Magic Model Analyst® (Cameo Simulation Toolkit®) does not yet support full SysMLv2 simulation (but no doubt sooner later will).
Webel IT Australia is very carefully tracking the coverage of SysMLv2 by these tool families. The following resources may be helpful:
