In the Webel recipe for pragmatic SE with SysML the «design» Stereotype keyword covers SysML model elements involved with BOTH design and/or implementation aspects in the 'solution' zone. In other words, «design» is for simplicity tantamount to BOTH design and implementation.
For example, in a more comprehensive, a design solution could be managed under a 'solution' zone within Model packages, and a code implementation could be managed (perhaps using forward/reverse code engineering), under Packages.
For pedagogical reasons and for simplicity for smaller projects, in the Webel recipe for pragmatic SE with SysML this possible separation between design and implementation is not formally treated, although it could easily also be introduced.
Application of the Stereotype for the «design» keyword enables querying of design (or implementation) related elements in query view tables, to extract information independent of a particular Packaging structure.
The Webel recipe for pragmatic SE with SysML is intended primarily to pragmatically introduce at least some separation of logical «blackbox» and «whitebox» modelling within a 'problem' analysis zone from design and implementation solution modelling.
