Some versions higher than JDK11 will NOT run MagicDraw/Cameo 2022x components!
Looking for a simple JDK11 version download compatible with both MagicDraw/Cameo v2022x AND your Mac Silicon (ARM) machine? Azul have a version at Azul: Java 11 LTS: 11.0.18+10: macOS ARM DMG. Just download the DMG, install it, then set your tool-specific JAVA_HOME.
For example, for MagicDraw, in (the filename is different for different CATIA tools):
JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-11.jdk/Contents/Home/
Then restart the modelling tool.
The following higher versions are known to NOT WORK:
JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/temurin-17.jdk/Contents/Home
JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-18.jdk/Contents/Home
As of 2023-04 it seems that Eclipse Temurin does not offer an ARM version (for Silicon Macs) as low as JDK 11
