Dr Darren says:
I can't begin to describe how much I love ScreenFlow. It has been my loyal ally for my work for a long time now. It does exactly what I want and need without clutter. The clip grouping and nesting, text handling, the video transition editing, export options control, and above all their super easy to use Video Action and Audio Action system, are unbeatable.

Don't compare this with tools like Final Cut Pro (which I also love for many types of projects). They may have more features, but they don't have the same workflow.

I have not only used ScreenFlow for the many tutorial trails I make for this site, I also use it to make breathtaking macro flower photography videos, and light synthesis art videos. It's great for your so-called Ken Burns style glides over nice high resolution images. Try to make sure your resources are much higher res than 4K, then use the Video Action facility and transitions.

Easy. Quic. Done. That's ScreenFlow!
