Webel: SysML: Electronics modelling: TIP: Use a custom Connector stereotype '<>' with the keyword '<>' to carry a 'net' property. (Use of punctuation in Stereotype names is not usually recommended and the keyword is not usually displayed.)

Works in the MagicDraw SysML Plugin and Magic Cyber-Systems Engineer® (Cameo Systems Modeler®).

If the Stereotype name is '<>' then (without any MagicDraw Customization) the keyword when displayed with guillemets is «<>», which you may remove from display once the stereotype is applied and a tagged value for 'net' is assigned.

The name '<>' is chosen to reflect the possibility of current flowing in either direction. If it is applied to a Connector it means it is part of a voltage «net».

BTW: It is deliberately chosen to extend just Connector - not the SysMLv1 BindingConnector - so as to not clash with any semantics associated with BindingConnector.

Use of punctuation in Stereotype names is not usually recommended.
However, it works fine in MagicDraw/Cameo.
